Hello! I am Christiana Cooper OTR/L, owner and treating therapist at Kaleidoscope Occupational Therapy LLC. I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelors Degree in Health Promotions in 2009. Four years later – in 2013 – I obtained my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Jefferson College of Health Sciences.
While pursuing my Masters Degree, I quickly discovered my passion for Pediatric Occupational Therapy. I especially enjoyed – and continue to enjoy – cultivating relationships with children and their families. I also love the creativity, laugher, and fun in every treatment session!
Since graduation, I have worked with children in outpatient pediatrics and in schools from birth-21 years old. I have worked with children of various complexities from developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. I am trained in Astronaut training, Handwriting Tree, and the Alert Program. I have worked heavily in sensory integration techniques throughout the years as well.
On a personal note, I am married to Tyler. He is also passionate about young people and has been called to serve as Youth Pastor. We have two boys: Elliot (2.5 years) and Coen (approaching 1 year). They keep us busy but bring us so much joy! We are honored that God chose us to be their parents.
